Students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) in Ondo State, on Thursday barricaded major roads around the institution to protest the prolonged industrial action that has kept them away from academic activities for 68 days. The protest, led by the Students' Union Government (SUG), blocked the university's main gate and roads linking to the major highway, disrupting movement. The protesters carried placards with inscriptions such as "Enough is Enough" and demanded immediate resolution of the issues causing the strike. SUG President Folagbade Greatness Ayoola stated that students could no longer remain silent over the situation.
