The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Edo State has seized over 7.5 tons of illicit drugs and arrested 68 suspects in an August crackdown. The seizures included 7,524.83 kg of Cannabis sativa, with 1,098.177 kg recovered and 6,433.33 kg destroyed on farms, along with psychotropic substances, methamphetamine, and codeine syrup. The operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
