Starlink launches satellite internet in UAE after securing 10-year licence

Starlink, the satellite internet division of SpaceX, has officially launched its services in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after receiving a 10-year licence from the country's telecommunications regulator. The company announced the launch on September 3 via its official X account, confirming that high-speed, low-latency internet is now available. The licence, granted by the UAE's Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) on August 28, permits Starlink to operate a public satellite communications network and provide broadband services nationwide.
