The Federal High Court in Abuja has refused to grant bail to Adeniyi Adeyemi, the Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC). Justice Obiora Egwuatu ruled that the police and other respondents must be heard to ensure fair hearing. However, the court granted Adeyemi, who is in police custody, unhindered access to his lawyers. Adeyemi had sued the Attorney-General, Inspector-General of Police, and others, seeking six reliefs.
