Two Airlink aircraft flew dangerously close to the DHL Stadium in Cape Town during a flypast before a rugby match between South Africa and New Zealand on Saturday. According to Flightradar24 data, the lead Embraer E195 came within 50 feet of the stadium roof, while videos appeared to show the second aircraft, an E190, being struck by a firework. The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) has opened an investigation into the incident, and Airlink has withdrawn plans for another flypast.
