Vice President Kashim Shettima announced the government's approval of state urban light rail projects in Lagos, Kaduna, and Kano. He urged the Minister of Transportation to collaborate with the respective state governments to establish the necessary technical, institutional, regulatory, and implementation arrangements without delay. This initiative is part of the National Land Transport Integration Policy.
