Gunmen killed two vigilante members in the Rim community of Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State on Wednesday night. The attack occurred around 11 p.m. while the victims were on watch with other community members, according to resident Lazarus Bot. Bot said the attackers opened fire on the vigilantes, killing two persons from the same family. The spokesman for the Berom Youth Moulders, Rwang Tengwong, condemned the attack and called on security agencies to pursue the perpetrators.
