Oyo Assembly approves N210bn supplementary budget

The Oyo State House of Assembly has approved a N210 billion supplementary budget for the 2026 fiscal year, raising the state's total budget to N1.102 trillion. The approval followed the adoption of the report by the House Committee on Finance, Appropriation and State Economic Planning. The supplementary provision will fund critical government programmes, particularly infrastructure and public works, and address emerging financial obligations. Committee Chairman Sunkanmi Babalola said the bill was scrutinised clause by clause before passage.
