More than 30 indigenes of Imo State who recently returned from South Africa have appealed to Governor Hope Uzodimma to extend the 1 million naira grant previously given to other returnees to them as well. The group made the appeal in a statement, citing their need for financial support to reintegrate into society. The governor has not yet responded to the request.
