Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has warned that Nigerians will no longer tolerate attempts to undermine their votes in the 2027 general election. Speaking at an NDC town hall meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Obi insisted that every vote must count and that the electorate's choices must be respected. He stated, 'Our votes this time must count, and whoever doesn't count it, we will count the person.' Obi also urged political leaders to engage directly with the people, saying Nigerians are tired of the prevailing situation.
