Minister of Defence, Christopher Musa, has stated that Nigeria has significantly defeated terrorists, with attacks no longer being as rampant as before. He made this remark on Channels Television's Politics Today, assessing the country's security situation. Musa noted that while terrorist attacks have reduced, kidnapping has become a more prominent security challenge, describing it as a social problem. He added that kidnapping now involves even family members, such as wives kidnapping husbands and husbands kidnapping children.
