Jain Global, the once-buzzy hedge fund, closes its first act on a down month

Jain Global, the hedge fund founded by Bobby Jain, reported a 0.2% loss in August, its final month managing outside capital, bringing 2026 returns to 3.7%. The fund, which began trading in July 2024 after raising over $5 billion, was hampered by high startup costs and delayed deployment. It has since returned capital to investors and now trades solely for Millennium.
