The Yobe State government spends N360 million annually on its free dialysis scheme, according to a statement by Mr. Goni. The hospital conducts between 600 and 700 free haemodialysis sessions every month under the programme, which has been running since 2017. The scheme aims to provide affordable healthcare for patients with kidney-related ailments in the state.
