The Jigawa State Government announced the death of the Emir of Gumel, Dr. Ahmad Muhammad, at the age of 84. The first-class traditional ruler died in Cairo, Egypt, on Thursday after reigning for 46 years. The Secretary to the Jigawa State Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim, confirmed the news.
