Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (retd.), has advised state governors and lawmakers to stop distributing motorcycles as palliatives, warning that such vehicles often end up in the hands of terrorists. He made the remarks on Channels Television's Politics Today, explaining that motorcycles provide terrorists with mobility in difficult terrain. Musa suggested that if motorcycles must be given, they should be small-capacity ones to limit their utility for insurgents.
