The Nigeria Police Force has disbursed N2.3 billion in insurance and welfare benefits to the families of 2,971 officers who died in service. Inspector General of Police, IGP Disu, presented the cheques during a ceremony in Abuja. This payment is part of efforts to support the families of fallen officers.
