The Ohimegye Igu of Koton Karfe, Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu, has called for federal intervention to address the gridlock on the Lokoja-Abuja highway. He warned that the congestion could lead to accidents and fatalities, especially during the Ember months. The traditional ruler made the appeal during a visit to the Federal Ministry of Works office in Lokoja.
