The Jigawa State government has announced plans to enroll about 5,000 Almajirai under its Tsangaya education programme. To support this initiative, the government has shortlisted 3,150 applicants to take a Computer-Based Test for the recruitment of 500 new teachers. These applicants were selected from over 9,000 graduates and holders of relevant qualifications, indicating a significant effort to improve educational opportunities in the state.
