Quadri Aruna, Africa's top table tennis player and the only one from the continent to reach the world's Top 10, has endorsed the 1st National Intermediate Games, tagged Eko 2026. He described the initiative as a pathway to discovering Nigeria's next generation of sporting talents. The Games will be held in Lagos from October 1 to 15, with over 15,000 athletes competing in 28 sports across 10 venues. Aruna made the endorsement during a courtesy visit to Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, in Alausa, Ikeja.
