The Council of Ulama of Nigeria has emphasized the importance of strong family institutions as a foundation for national prosperity. President of the council, Sheikh Abdulfatah Thanni, made this assertion during the annual Couples Seminar of the Muslim Congress in the Federal Capital Territory. He stressed that Nigerians should prioritize family values in line with Islamic teachings to build a prosperous nation.
