Governor Nwifuru to Opposition: This Is the Beginning, You ‘ll Soon See Real Threat

Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has issued a stern warning to opposition parties, stating that the real threat to them is yet to come. During the swearing-in of newly elected local government chairmen, he vowed to remove any chairman who fails to deliver their council to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections. He also instructed the chairmen to deal mercilessly with opposition members and ensure a 100% victory for the APC. Following the governor's directive, the Chairman of Ohaukwu Local Government Area, Paul Ituma, warned opposition politicians to stay away from his area.
