Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has signed the N1.85 trillion 2026 Appropriation Bill into law, describing it as 'a breath of fresh air' and the beginning of a new chapter of unity and progress. The bill, titled 'Budget of Resilience for Growth and Development,' was passed by the Rivers State House of Assembly after committee evaluations and deliberations. At a ceremony in Port Harcourt, Fubara expressed gratitude to God, stakeholders, and the Assembly for the successful passage. He commended the Assembly members for their efforts.
