The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa, has declared victory in the fight against insurgency and violent extremism in Nigeria, stating that attacks by terrorists are no longer as rampant or brazen as in the past. Speaking on Channels Television's 'Politics Today', he noted that terrorist attacks have drastically reduced, giving way to kidnapping, which he described as a social issue. He also cautioned politicians against giving out motorcycles as palliatives, saying it aids criminal activities.
