Nigeria's Defence Minister, General Christopher Musa (retd.), has advised state governors and lawmakers to stop giving motorcycles as palliatives, saying terrorists are using them to carry out attacks. He noted that some of the motorcycles end up in the hands of terrorists, who use them to enhance their operations. He suggested that if motorcycles must be given, they should be small-capacity ones that are less useful to terrorists.
