The 2025/2026 academic year cultural competition for schools in the Central Region of Eritrea concluded on September 3 under the theme 'Culture: Fostering Values and Identity.' The year-long event involved students from elementary to secondary levels and included activities such as reading, calligraphy, general knowledge, photography, painting, innovation, debating, narration, short stories, poetry, dance, music, and drama. At the closing ceremony, officials emphasized the importance of culture in nurturing young people's values and national pride.
