The Gold and Gemstones Conference & Exhibition (GGCE) will mark its fifth anniversary in 2026 with a renewed focus on investment, innovation and the growing role of African women in the continent's gold, gemstone and jewellery economy. The landmark edition will hold from November 24 to 28, 2026, at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Lagos, under the theme: 'African Women Driving Africa's Gold and Gemstone Economy: Catalysing Investment, Innovation and Global Competitiveness.' The organisers said GGCE 2026 would bring together investors, businesses, industry leaders, policymakers and other stakeholders to explore opportunities across the gold, gemstone and jewellery value chain. The conference will focus on moving beyond Africa's vast mineral resources to promoting greater local value addition through mining, processing, beneficiation, jewellery manufacturing, technology, trading and design.
