Kia has recently unveiled teaser images and a video of the Kia PV7, the brand’s second dedicated, all-electric Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) model, ahead of its global debut at IAA Transportation in September. Expanding Kia’s PBV lineup into the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment, the PV7 offers increased space and capability beyond the PV5, addressing the evolving needs of business customers across a broader range of commercial and lifestyle applications. The teaser images place the PV7 in a variety of everyday settings, highlighting its adaptability across different lifestyles and work scenarios. Its one-box profile combines balanced proportions with a robust, confident stance, while the black hood and pillar garnish create a distinctive contrast with the body color. Along with Kia’s signature front and rear lamp graphics, these elements reinforce the distinctive design identity of Kia’s PBV lineup, the automaker said in a statement. Building on Kia’s extensive electric vehicle expertise, the PV7 is based on the dedicated E-GMP.S platform and follows the introduction of the PV5 as the brand’s second dedicated PBV model. As a key pillar of Kia’s PBV strategy, the PV7 and its future derivatives will further expand the lineup and broaden the company’s business mobility offering. The Kia PV7 will make its global debut at IAA Transportation in Hannover, Germany, on September 14, 2026. Recognized as one of the world’s leading commercial vehicle exhibitions, the event will also see Kia showcase a range of PV5 derivatives, demonstrating the scalability of its PBV strategy and continued expansion across diverse customer applications.
