Kenya's Cabinet Secretary for Health, Hon. Aden Duale, met with a delegation from Helen Keller International led by Vice President Shawn Baker to discuss strengthening collaboration in nutrition, particularly for women, children, and underserved communities. Helen Keller International has supported Kenya by reaching 3.5 million people with Vitamin A supplementation and providing deworming to 2.5 million children across seven counties. The organization is also promoting sustainable food systems through pilot programmes in Tharaka Nithi, Kilifi, and Baringo counties. Hon. Duale commended the organization's contribution and called for closer integration of partner-supported programmes into government systems under the principles of One Plan, One Budget, and One Accountability.
