The Federal Ministry of Works, Anambra State Field Headquarters, has announced a two-week closure of the First Niger Bridge for repair works. During the closure, work will proceed day and night, and the bridge will be equipped with solar lights and CCTV for surveillance. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid disruptions.
