2027: NDC candidate accuses LASAA of targeting her campaign banners in Surulere

Dr. Adefolaseye Adebayo, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for Surulere Federal Constituency I, has accused the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA) of selectively removing her campaign banners while leaving those of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) intact. Adebayo, a medical surgeon, claimed the removal began after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) opened the campaign period for the 2027 elections. She said supporters alerted her to the removal of her banners from various locations in Surulere. When confronted, officials allegedly did not provide a satisfactory explanation.
