Boko Haram terrorists attack APC gov candidate’s convoy in Borno

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked the convoy of Mustapha Gubio, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Borno State, on Thursday. The attack occurred along the Gubio-Karote-Damasak highway in the northern part of the state while Gubio was en route to Mobbar to thank party members for their support. Security forces, including soldiers, police, and vigilante groups, repelled the attack, and no casualties were reported. The candidate's campaign team continued their tour after the incident.
