The Kwara State Government has denied allegations of victimizing the People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Bolakale Kawu, over the removal of his billboards. The government stated that the removal was due to the billboard operator's debt to the Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA). Officials emphasized that the action was not politically motivated but a routine enforcement of regulations. The PDP candidate had earlier accused the government of targeting his campaign materials.
