Iragbiji Ruling Houses Hail Aragbiji As Court Nullifies Lagbua’s Recognition

The four recognized ruling houses of Iragbiji have commended the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdul Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi Odundun IV, for his leadership in a legal case. The Osun State High Court, Iragbiji Judicial Division, nullified the state government's 2025 decision recognizing the Lagbua family as a fifth ruling house. The judgment, delivered on August 21, 2026, by Justice G.O. Lawal, reaffirmed the four previously recognized ruling houses: Ajibode, Ogunmolu, Osungbemi, and Arodoye. The case was instituted by representatives of the four ruling houses.
