The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has unveiled a five-year reform plan aimed at increasing insurance penetration to 10% and covering 25 million Nigerians by 2031. The initiative seeks to lift coverage from the current 0.5% of GDP, with a focus on women, youths, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
