The Federal Ministry of Works announced the closure of some sections of the first Niger Bridge from September 7 to September 21 for maintenance. Acting Federal Controller of Works in Anambra, Timothy Emenike, disclosed this in an interview. He advised motorists to use the second Niger Bridge during the period. The maintenance will include fixing vandalised sections and will be carried out day and night to ensure speedy completion.
