The Bayelsa State Government has ordered the immediate suspension of the new school fees regime at the Niger Delta University (NDU) in Amassoma. The directive was issued by the Commissioner for Education, Chief Dr. Gentle Emelah, in a statement on Thursday. The government urged the university management to put the new fee regime on hold and called on both students and authorities to maintain peace and ensure academic activities continue without interruption. The government did not provide details of the new fees.
