The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has expressed concern over the rising vandalism and theft of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI) in the Federal Capital Territory. FCT Commandant Dr. Olusola Odumosu, represented by his deputy Mr. Tijani Usman, spoke at the closing of a two-day training on protecting CNAI. He called for a shift from ad-hoc and reactive approaches to a standardized, intelligence-led, and technology-driven operational doctrine, urging personnel to view CNAI protection as a national duty.
