The United Nations has voted to adopt a new world map that accurately represents the true size of Africa, as part of the #CorrectTheMap campaign led by Togo and supported by all 55 African Union member states. The resolution aims to correct the distortion caused by traditional map projections that make Africa appear smaller than it is.
