The Ghanaian Ministry of Gender has launched a mobile application called Marrify, designed to help prospective couples verify their partners' marital status before marriage. The app was unveiled at a ceremony attended by Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, the Minister of Gender, and developed in collaboration with MarryRight, a family law and marriage agency. Lartey stated that the app aims to enable couples to make informed decisions, promote relationships built on respect, and help prevent gender-based violence. She added that the launch provides an opportunity for couples to approach marriage with greater awareness and responsibility.
