A health crisis in Plateau State has escalated as the death toll from an unknown illness has risen to 23. The state commissioner reported that eight patients are currently receiving treatment at Jos University Teaching Hospital, while five others are being treated at Plateau Specialist Hospital. Isolation centres have been established for suspected cases to contain the outbreak.
