Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen was substituted in the 33rd minute of Galatasaray's match against Istanbul Basaksehir after scoring in the 16th minute, due to a suspected muscle injury. The 27-year-old was replaced by Barış Alper Yılmaz, and his goal was his sixth of the season. Osimhen has also provided three assists this season. The injury may affect Nigeria's preparations for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers later this month.
