The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has demanded the prosecution of individuals responsible for the alleged assault of a senior medical officer at a hospital in Abuja. The assault reportedly occurred on 31 August at the hospital's Accident and Emergency Unit while the doctor was on call. NARD issued the demand in a statement on Friday, calling for justice and better protection for medical personnel.
