General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of Sudan's Sovereign Council, made a brief working visit to Eritrea. He was welcomed at Asmara International Airport by President Isaias Afwerki. The visit was part of regular consultations between the two countries. Al-Burhan highlighted the strong historical ties between Sudan and Eritrea and expressed appreciation for Eritrea's consistent stance.
