Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma have rescued 25 kidnapped victims during operations in Katsina and Zamfara states. The rescues occurred on September 3, 2026, following encounters with terrorists. Military Information Officer Lieutenant-Colonel Aliyu Danja reported that in Katsina State, troops on night patrol engaged terrorists, who fled, leading to the rescue of two victims abducted along the Dandume-Damari Road. Two additional items were recovered during the operations.
