The Lagos State Government has made the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) number compulsory for school admission and enrolment in all public and private schools starting from the 2026/2027 academic session. The directive, approved by Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education Tolani Alli-Balogun, requires schools to record the LASRRA number of every learner. The policy aims to establish a comprehensive database of learners in the state.
