Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has linked economic hardship to reports of young Nigerians selling their kidneys. He made the remarks on X, blaming President Bola Tinubu's economic policies for the cost-of-living crisis. Meanwhile, Atiku's spokesman Kenneth Okonkwo stated that Peter Obi, the NDC presidential candidate, would be easily defeated in the 2027 elections without a united opposition.
