A truck loaded with sand has crushed six people to death in an accident involving a tricycle along the Yola-Girei federal highway in Adamawa State. The Adamawa Police Command spokesman, SP Sulaiman Nguroje, confirmed the incident, stating that the victims, including the tricycle driver and five passengers, were rushed to Yola Specialist Hospital where they were pronounced dead. Nguroje appealed for calm and assured that any violators of traffic laws would face justice. The accident has caused anger among local Keke NAPEP riders, prompting police to urge motorists to remain calm.
