The Federal Ministry of Works has announced a 14-day closure of sections of the first Niger Bridge from September 7 to September 21 for maintenance. The acting Federal Comptroller of Works in Anambra, Timothy Emenike, advised motorists to use the second Niger Bridge during this period. The maintenance will address vandalized sections and will be carried out day and night to speed up completion. Motorists are urged to cooperate with authorities and follow diversion signs.
