Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has challenged Nigerians to scrutinise his background and publicly identify any wrongdoing he may have committed. Speaking at a town hall meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, tagged 'Obi Talks Nigeria', Obi said he and his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, have made their personal and educational backgrounds available for public scrutiny. He urged Nigerians to verify their records worldwide, as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general election.
