Troops and other security operatives stormed a kidnappers' hideout in a Lagos forest, rescuing two victims and neutralizing one of the fleeing kidnappers. Two other suspects escaped deeper into the forest. The operation was part of ongoing efforts to combat kidnapping in the region.
